Mystic Moon in Norfolk, Virginia is one of those places that just feels right when you walk in those front doors. The air is scented with inscense and candlelight can often be found flickering upon the store's altar. Dive deeply into the store and seek your treasures, whether they be books, candles, clothing or jewelry. The stores has different readers, offers classes and workshops and boasts the longest running weekly drum circle that I've seen...anywhere. This is one of my "home away from home"-type places. I showed up as a solitary eclectic pagan seeking herbs and books and answers to a question or two... I was invited to Drum Circle that night - showed up and have been to every drum circle since. I love this place! There is such a variety of books, clothing, jewelry, herbs, candles and almost anything a pagan could need for ritual or their own practice. There is, also, a library, and many different classes- from Practical Magic to belly dancing to Energy Workshops. The only requirement is the hugging of Brian-one of the owners- of course, all will hug you ,if you so desire- but it is a Brian necessity.
